COVID-19 Update

We want to let you know that we are committed to staying open during these Stage 3 restrictions while ever it is safe to do so.

Back in March when COVID really kicked off in our region WE made the decision to close our doors for 5 weeks. This was mainly because we could not source the necessary items to keep you safe. We were unable to get wipes, hand sanitizer, face pads etc and we felt we may have been a risk to the community. As you know, since our closure we have made many changes to improve your safety. These changes, combined with an ongoing supply of all safety equipment and supplies – including face masks- means we are confident that we can provide a safe environment for you to access treatment. One of the biggest changes over the last 4 months has been the community understanding of Corona Virus and how to best combat it. Patients are attending appointments by themselves, wearing masks, socially distancing and sanitizing on entry. We want to THANK YOU all for these efforts and ask that you continue. We also ask that you reschedule your appointment should you exhibit any COVID symptoms or have been in contact with anyone from a cluster area.

Thanks again and we hope to remain open through these difficult times to help keep you fit, healthy and pain free.

Advice On Masks

As per the Victorian Government advice, all therapists at Physio Freedom will now be wearing face masks whilst treating. It is also recommended that you, the patient wears some sort of face covering. This can include either a reusable/disposable mask or scarf. We would appreciate your compliance on this matter for all of our safety.

COVID-19 Update

All staff at Physio Freedom would ask any patients who have travelled to Melbourne recently or been in contact with people from Melbourne hotspots to refrain from attending our clinic for at least 2 weeks. This will ensure the safety of all our staff and enable us to stay open during these challenging times. We thank you for your understanding.

Reopening

Physio Freedom is reopening!

Physio Freedom Warrnambool and Hamilton will be reopening on Monday 11th of May 2020.

The health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and you, our patients is of primary importance. Hence there will be some noticeable changes to help to try to control the spread of COVID-19.

We will have a maximum of 2 therapists on at any given time to allow for social distancing. We ask that you do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment and please wash your hands on arrival. Payment should be done by tap and go where possible.Therapists may wear gloves and masks for everybody’s protection. They will continue with stringent sanitizing, cleaning between each patient and may moderate the amount of hands on within a treatment in line with the current situation. We ask that the elderly and immuno-suppressed refrain from coming into the clinic unless absolutely necessary. If Telehealth is working for you then please continue with this safe option. If you would like to make an appointment, please call Warrnambool: (03) 5500 5271 or Hamilton: (03) 5571 9157.

We look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon. We will be monitoring the situation closely and will adapt according.

COVID-19 Update

To all loyal physio Freedom patients, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Physio Freedom will be closing its doors for face to face consultations as of 6 p.m., Friday the 27th of March.

This decision has been made in an effort to stop the spread of the Coronavirus within our country as quickly as we can.

We will still be offering appointments via telehealth and I encourage anyone requiring this to phone the clinic. If the phone is not answered, PLEASE leave your details and we will endeavour to call you back within the next couple of hours.

For those of you who are not too tech-savvy, it is extremely easy, our friendly staff will guide you through the process. If you don’t wish to have video involvement, we can do an assessment and give valuable advice over a good old landline!

For any patients who have appointments scheduled for face to face consultation (Physiotherapy or Pilates) beyond 27th of March, please call reception to cancel your appointment and advise if you would like the physiotherapist to follow up with you via telehealth.

Once again, I apologize to one and all for this decision. Be reassured that we will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so but we feel we need to do our bit to help the whole world halt the spread of Coronavirus.

Thank you for your understanding and stay well.

Clif Watt and all the staff from Physio Freedom
