I studied Physiotherapy in Melbourne, graduating from La Trobe University in 1997 with honours. I have worked in Australia and the UK, predominantly in private practice. I established Physio Freedom in 2006 and my area of special interest is back pain. I also spend considerable time working with our junior physios, offering ongoing professional development and in-service.
I qualified as a Physiotherapist in London in 1984. After 2½ years working in London, I came to Australia. I have worked in a variety of positions, but the last 13 years have been in private practice. I enjoy treating all age groups and conditions but have a special interest in dry needling, clinical Pilates, hand splinting and the management of lymphoedema.
I was born in Worcestershire, England and trained in Birmingham, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) in 2010. I have worked for three and a half years in private practice in the UK and Melbourne. I’ve also been treating the players in the North Warrnambool Eagles Football Club this season. I enjoy treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries in a sporting context. My area of special interest is the treatment of backs and knees. I use dry needling and manipulation as well as Pilates-based rehabilitation. When I am not working I enjoy keeping fit and I love to travel.
I was educated at Leeds Metropolitan University, England and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy in 2010. I have worked in private practice for 4 years in the UK. I enjoy treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries, particularly necks and backs. I use a variety of treatment techniques which include deep tissue therapy, mobilization, and manipulation.
I was born and raised in the Philippines. I achieved my Bachelor degree in Science and Physical Therapy (Honours) at the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute in the Philippines in 2012.
After working in a private hospital for almost 4 years in the Philippines, as well as in a running clinic for a year, I decided to move to Australia (Adelaide) in July 2016 and completed a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University.
I enjoy treating various musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions, with a deep interest in sports injuries, as well as back and neck pain.
After finishing school I traveled to Kent, England and worked in a school for 12 months. In 2009 I moved to Melbourne and lived in Hawthorn and worked in an office at a primary school in Hawthorn and as a receptionist for a busy Physiotherapy clinic in Kew.
My previous work experience has been in retail sales and customer service, which I have thoroughly enjoyed over the years. I was the P&F president at my boys’ primary school for 9 years and I have been the WDFUA Secretary/Treasurer for 7 years. I have enjoyed the administration side of these positions. I found my dream job, working at Warrnambool Muscle Therapy and I am now enjoying the new challenge of looking after the lovely clients of Physio Freedom in Warrnambool.
I come from a background of working in the banking industry and I am finding my new role at Physio Freedom a lovely change. I am enjoying working with everyone that I meet.
My interests include any form of craft work; at the moment I am focusing on crocheting. I also enjoy
watching and umpiring netball.
I am originally from Scotland where I trained as an Occupational Therapist. Clifton Watt and I established Physio Freedom in 2006. Since its inception, I have been heavily involved in the book keeping and payroll side of the business. I am now enjoying a more hands-on role in reception at the Warrnambool clinic.
Since commencing employment in 1998 I have worked in administration positions at Tait Taylor Lawyers, Warrnambool Police Station and FlooringXtra/Independent Carpet Retailers.
I am married with 4 children and thoroughly enjoy working part time at Physio Freedom Warrnambool.
I immigrated to Australia with my Husband and two children from South Africa in 2005; I have worked in administration/accounts positions in Hobart and Adelaide. Since moving to Hamilton two years ago I am enjoying working as a receptionist in the health sector.
Outside of work, I enjoy a good laugh, taking long walks, camping and spending time with my family.
After growing up in central Victoria, I moved to the Western District in 1991 and married a local Penshurst Man in 1993, and we have 2 Children.
I have had different reception Jobs over years, and in early 2017 I started here at Physio Freedom.I enjoy working with my Colleagues and take pleasure in helping our Clients.
Outside of work, I have a passion for Horses, Thoroughbreds in particular, and enjoy watching the ones I have bred Race.
